QUICK CHANGE

It is that time of the year when we all make resolutions and hope that we can stick to them.  With so many things happening in our lives it becomes so difficult to follow all that we plan to do.  We would probably need a simple trick to revamp our style.  Let us start the year with healthy well balanced eating habits and keeping in shape.  You would also need to look good as you head back to work or plan to start a new job.

The first basic step would be to prep up your beauty routine with a gentle deep cleaning.  Treat your skin to a facial steam.  Pour hot water into a large bowl, drape a towel over your head and let your skin absorb the steam for five minutes.  It is the best home care remedy to open up the pores and draw out embedded dirt.  If you need some extra calming as well, add some rosemary, thyme or mint to the water and inhale.  This will soothe your mind while your skin gets a well deserved cleansing.  A gentle exfoliator is ideal to use after the steam as this aids in clearing dead skin cells and the hydroxyl acids help to smooth and soothe the skin.

Follow this with a cleansing face wash.  A creamy solution is suitable for dry skins and a gel-like solution is much better used on oily skin.  After you have patted your skin dry, apply a toner onto a cotton swap and gently smooth over your skin.  A suitable moisturizer is then applied and gently massaged into the skin.  Always remember to apply a sunscreen that will protect your skin against the harsh UV rays of the sun.

Calming tired eyes is a great step to add to your treatment facial regime.  Simply cut two pieces of cucumber and place on each eye.  Relax and allow the fluid-draining enzymes to work.  Gel-like eye masks give you the similar affect as they are filled with hyaluronic acid and flower extracts which helps to soften fine lines at the corners of your eyes.  This is also an excellent way to reduce puffiness which will leave your eyes looking rested and refreshed.

Deep cleanse your hair by switching shampoos to organic ones that have peppermint or tea tree oil.  This smells great and also leaves your hair shiny and glossy.  Get your nails into shape by soaking them in warm water and half a lime.  Dry and apply a hand moisturizer to soften hands and create a supple look.  People always notice a great smile, so brighten up your smile.  Visit you local dentist for a teeth cleansing or simply brush your teeth with a teeth whitening solution that will help stop stains rebuilding.
